I used to think that you needed land to have soil – meaning you needed to have a garden or a farm or a piece of land to dig up some soil to plant in. Living in a building, we didn’t have any soil and there was no place we could go to just dig up some.
Who knew you could buy soil from the garden centers? (Wasn’t dirt supposed to be free?)
But this was great! It was not just any soil. This was a complete mix for the plants already, supposedly well-draining and with lots of nutrients.
